Biography
DAM Thai Ninh is a researcher at the Information Technology Institute (ITI), VNU, Vietnam. He received his bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Vietnam National University – University of Engineering and Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam. His bachelor's thesis focused on balancing the privacy and utility of GANs model. In 2026, he also undertook a research internship at AIMS, VUB. His research interests are related to Artificial Intelligence and the application of Artificial Intelligence for Neurology, especially for degenerative diseases, including Multiple Sclerosis.
His current research focuses on developing and applying T1w/FLAIR ratio mapping in MS MRI data to leverage conventional MRI data for assessing more serious microstructural damage in the brain; this might help the doctor get a better and more precise diagnosis.
